Role Description
The Social Media Manager role is a remote contract position responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across key social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, writing posts, optimizing profiles and content for reach and engagement, and monitoring social media performance. The role involves responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner, highlighting property features, seasonal offers, and guest experiences. The Social Media Manager will also collaborate with the agency team to align social content with brand voice, owner needs, and overall marketing goals, using analytics to refine strategies over time.

- Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to grow audiences and improve engagement.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, appealing, and brand-consistent messages.
- Candidates should possess skills in Content Strategy to plan effective campaigns and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Experience with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and basic analytics or reporting tools is beneficial.
- Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or property management marketing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset when representing owners and guests online.
