SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – AGENCY
📍 London | Hybrid – 3 Days in the Office
💼 B2B & B2C | Financial Services Clients
Are you a Social Media Manager who knows how to turn strategy into content that actually gets noticed? We’re working with a growing London agency looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join their team and work across an exciting portfolio of B2B and B2C clients, with a strong focus on the financial services sector. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves social, understands what makes different audiences tick and wants to take real ownership of client accounts.
THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering social strategies across a range of client accounts. This isn’t just about scheduling posts. You’ll be expected to understand your clients, their audiences and their commercial objectives — then turn that into smart, engaging social content and campaigns. You’ll work across both B2B and B2C audiences, so you’ll need to know how to adapt your tone, content and approach depending on who you’re trying to reach.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Developing and delivering social media strategies
- Creating engaging social-first content and copy
- Coming up with creative campaign and content ideas
- Managing content calendars across multiple client accounts
- Working with B2B and B2C financial services brands
- Managing channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other relevant platforms
- Monitoring performance and turning data into actionable insights
- Producing client reports and recommending ways to improve performance
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted social media expert
- Keeping on top of social trends, platform changes and new opportunities
- Collaborating with creative, content, strategy and wider agency teams
- Ensuring social activity supports wider marketing and business objectives

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You’ll already have solid experience working in social media, ideally within an agency environment. We’re looking for someone who can combine creativity with commercial thinking. Someone who can come up with a great content idea — but also explain why it works and what it should achieve. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience managing social media accounts and campaigns
- Agency experience or experience managing multiple brands/accounts
- Experience with financial services, fintech or another regulated industry would be a big advantage
- Strong knowledge of organic social platforms and best practice
- A genuine passion for social media, content and emerging trends
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Confidence using social analytics to measure and improve performance
- Strong client-facing and account management skills
- The ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders
- An understanding of the differences between B2B and B2C social
