We're looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join our team and manage the online presence of independent music artists.

This is a freelance, long-term opportunity. Each artist requires approximately 10-19 hours per month, and as you demonstrate strong results, you'll be assigned additional artists.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for building and executing an artist's social media strategy from the ground up, including:

  • Developing a unique brand identity for each artist
  • Creating mood boards and visual direction, including colour theory and colour grading references
  • Building storytelling strategies that strengthen the artist's identity and audience connection
  • Planning content around releases, campaigns and key moments
  • Using existing artist assets to create engaging content ideas
  • Writing clear creative briefs and directing designers and editors to produce content that matches the brand vision
  • Scheduling content across platforms and ensuring everything is delivered on time
  • Managing content calendars and coordinating campaigns around music releases
  • Growing accounts organically through platform best practices and trend awareness
  • Planning, launching and optimising Meta ad campaigns where appropriate
  • Monitoring performance and refining strategies based on analytics

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
