EMEA Social Media Manager - (Social Listening Experience Required)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Length: 12-Month Contract
About the Role
An internationally recognised consumer technology and entertainment brand is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join its Global Social & Content team on a 12-month contract.
This role will lead social media activity across several key European markets, including the UK, Germany, France and the Nordics, with a primary focus on Instagram and Facebook. Sitting at the intersection of regional execution and global strategy, you will work closely with international marketing teams, agency partners and regional stakeholders to deliver culturally relevant, high-performing social content. This is a highly collaborative position requiring a balance of strategic thinking, stakeholder management and hands-on content creation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Market Execution
- Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple European markets, ensuring content is locally relevant, brand-aligned and supports wider business objectives.
- Develop and implement market-specific social media strategies with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes.
- Adapt global campaign messaging and content frameworks for local audiences and market nuances.
- Monitor platform developments, emerging trends and cultural moments, using insights to optimise performance and engagement.
- Ensure regional social content aligns with the global content calendar and broader marketing strategy.

Content Creation & Campaign Delivery
- Create engaging content across Instagram and Facebook, including static assets, Stories, Reels and short-form video.
- Brief and collaborate with internal creative teams and agency partners on content production.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all social channels and markets.
- Apply a creator-led mindset to content development, ensuring assets are optimised for each platform's native environment.
Agency & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with social media and creative agency partners, overseeing workflows, timelines and deliverables.
- Provide strategic and creative direction to agency teams to ensure output meets brand and market requirements.
- Support the activation of integrated social campaigns, including collaboration with paid social teams where required.
- Build strong relationships with regional stakeholders and external partners across entertainment, media and consumer-facing sectors.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with global social, content, marketing and communications teams to deliver consistent regional execution.
- Partner with local teams to identify opportunities around product launches, brand campaigns and culturally relevant moments.
- Contribute regional insights and recommendations to the development of global social campaigns and content initiatives.
- Coordinate campaign rollouts across multiple markets and stakeholder groups.
Performance Reporting & Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse social performance across all markets.
- Produce regular reporting and actionable recommendations to improve engagement, reach and content effectiveness.
- Use platform analytics and audience insights to optimise content strategy, posting cadence and creative formats.
- Share learnings and best practices with global teams to support ongoing channel development.
