About the Role
I’m the founder of GeniusPR, a PR and reputation management agency working with fintech, crypto, and emerging tech clients. I’m building my personal brand (“IAmKimThan” on Instagram) to become the recognized go-to name for PR—for company announcements, personal brand PR, and visa-related PR (e.g., EB-1). I’m also a DJ, and I travel constantly meeting clients and closing deals.
I need a social media manager who can turn raw, unpolished phone footage into a consistent, high-performing content engine across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn—mixing business authority, lifestyle/travel, and entertainment (DJing) content. The primary focus is my IAmKimThan account, with music/DJ elements woven in as a supporting layer rather than a separate main focus. You’ll also help manage the personal brand of my co-founder, Jamie—same platforms, secondary priority to mine, but run in parallel.
This is a highly independent, full-cycle role: weekly content planning, scripting, B-roll and editing, scheduling, posting on my behalf, and daily reporting. Once I send footage, you own everything from there.
What You’ll Be Doing
Strategy & Planning
- Send me a weekly content plan every Friday (with a reminder Sunday) outlining exactly what I need to film that week
- Use Poppy.ai to research and analyze high-performing content from similar creators/niches, and apply those findings to shape my content plan and formats
- Identify and apply the best-performing viral ad/content formats (hooks, storytelling structures, trending formats, do’s/don’ts, case studies, reviews, etc.)
- Blend three content pillars for my account: (1) PR/business authority & 7-figure agency operations, (2) travel/client relationships/lead generation, (3) DJ/music/entertainment as a supporting layer
- Apply the same planning process for Jamie’s (co-founder) account in parallel

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Use Poppy.ai to analyze what’s working for similar/competitor content creators and translate those insights into my content plan and scripts
- Write scripts for short-form content and YouTube videos that I can read/follow on camera.
- Write and post LinkedIn content using Kleo for both my profile and Jamie’s
- Adapt scripts to platform-specific formats (Reels/TikTok vs. long-form YouTube vs. LinkedIn)
Production & Editing
- Edit all Instagram and TikTok content yourself using CapCut and/or Opus, including sourcing/cutting your own B-roll—this is your responsibility, not mine
- Take raw, sometimes unsorted footage I send and independently figure out how to turn it into postable content
- For YouTube (shot on Osmo Pocket 3): assess footage, refine scripts, and manage a freelance editor to produce polished long-form videos
- Source and manage a small team of freelance editors as needed for overflow — you retain quality control
Publishing & Management
- Post directly to my Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn on my behalf
- Do the same for Jamie’s accounts (secondary priority)
- Full account management: captions, hashtags, posting times, community engagement basics
Workflow
- I will send raw, sometimes unstructured footage via WhatsApp or Dropbox — you independently plan, edit, and post it
- You operate with a high degree of independence once footage is in your hands
Reporting
- Daily reporting on views, engagement, click-through rates, and follower growth across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (both my account and Jamie’s)
- Weekly/monthly summary of KPI trends and recommended adjustments
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience growing personal brands for entrepreneurs/founders — ideally agency owners running service-based businesses
- Hands-on proficiency in CapCut and Opus for editing, including shooting/cutting your own B-roll (you edit personally—this is not delegated)
- Working knowledge of Poppy.ai to analyze competitor/similar-creator content and turn insights into a content plan
- Working knowledge of Kleo for LinkedIn content writing and posting
- Experience managing Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn simultaneously for the same brand/person
- Strong understanding of current viral content formats and platform-specific best practices
- Comfortable working independently from raw, unsorted phone footage and turning it into scroll stopping content without heavy direction
- Experience managing freelance editors/a small team (for YouTube long-form)
- Able to manage two founders’ personal brands in parallel (primary + secondary priority)
- Based anywhere, but must be available for daily check-ins/reporting
- Available to start immediately

Application & Interview Process
To be considered, please provide:
- Portfolio of viral content you personally created or directly managed (not just “consulted on”)
- Before/after growth metrics for at least 2–3 personal brand or founder accounts you’ve managed (follower growth, views, engagement rate over time)
- Direct client references — I need to be able to contact 2+ past or current clients to verify results. Please note: NDAs preventing any client contact or metric-sharing will not be accepted for this role, as I’m unable to verify unverifiable work.
- A live or recorded demo showing your CapCut and/or Opus editing process
- An example of how you’ve used Poppy.ai (or similar tool) to research competitor/similar-creator content and turn it into a content plan
- Examples of content calendars you’ve built for past clients.
Interview process: Shortlisted candidates will have a screening call with Nicole (my team) to walk through your portfolio, editing process, scripting workflow, and past KPIs before a final decision is made.
