Be(come) the Experience – Make our brand impossible to scroll past in the UK.
We're Kapten & Son. With over 250 Kaptens, we work every day to become Europe's leading D2C lifestyle brand. Our products accompany people through their everyday experiences – and you'll make sure the Kapten & Son brand shows up on Instagram and TikTok in the UK in a way that stops thumbs in their tracks.
Start: immediately
Location: London (Hybrid)
Your Kapten Experience includes
- Create and publish content: You shoot, edit, and post for Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories) and TikTok, fast, at a high standard, and always with a clear understanding of the UK Brand Strategy. Every post has a reason.
- Drive channel strategy: You own the UK strategy for Instagram and TikTok, set the goals, build the plan, hit the numbers. Social isn't a silo here; it's the beat that amplifies everything else.
- Catch trends and make them ours: You spot trends early and translate them into content that feels like Kapten & Son, not like everyone else using the same sound.
- Build and nurture community: You show up in comments, DMs, and mentions, as a human, not a brand bot. You know who matters in our community and build those relationships with intention.
- Understand and act on performance: You track, analyse, and act, no screenshots into decks, but reports that actually shape what happens next.
- Co-create paid social content: You build video and static assets designed for ads from the ground up. You know the difference between organic content and creative that converts in paid, and you give our central performance marketing team exactly what they need to win.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
