Help shape the future of a newly incorporated mental health CIC
We're looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to help grow Serenity's online community, inspire meaningful conversations around mental health, and support our mission as we expand across the UK.
What difference will you make?
The Social Media Manager will play a vital role in helping Serenity reach the people who need us most. As a newly incorporated Community Interest Company, growing awareness and building trust within our communities is essential to our long-term success.
By strengthening our presence across social media, the successful volunteer will help introduce more people to Serenity's mission, attract volunteers and strategic partners, support fundraising initiatives, and encourage future users to engage with our platform as we prepare for public beta.
Their work will directly contribute to building a supportive online community where conversations around mental health feel safe, compassionate and accessible. Every campaign, post and interaction will help increase awareness of mental health, reduce stigma, and ensure more people know that Serenity exists when they need support.
As our organisation grows, effective social media will become one of our most important tools for connecting with communities across the UK. This volunteer will help establish the foundations of that long-term engagement, making a lasting contribution to Serenity's growth and social impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
