What are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual with the following skills, experience, and qualities:
Skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and digital marketing tools.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with attention to detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies.
- Competency in data analysis and reporting to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and email marketing.

Experience
- Previous experience in a digital marketing or social media management role.
- Experience in creating and managing content calendars.
- Familiarity with running paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms.
- Experience in engaging and growing online communities.
Qualities

- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Disability Equals Ability Charity is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Social Media Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. This exciting volunteer opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in digital marketing communications to drive our reach and enhance our brand awareness.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies that align with our mission to empower the lives of disabled individuals and their families. Your strong understanding of best practices in marketing communications will enable you to deliver results-driven campaigns that engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop communications content to inspire new and existing donors, leading to increased individual giving.
- Conduct a full audit of existing social media channels and provide insights and optimizations based on competitor analysis.
- Create a comprehensive strategy including content analysis, channel strategy, and setup.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in digital communications and recommend new channels for fundraising and audience engagement.
- Engage existing supporters, reach new donors, and co-create original, impactful content to inspire and educate.
- Manage the social media volunteers in areas such as design, digital marketing, and fundraising to ensure projects are completed on time and meet standards.
- Review and edit content to ensure adherence to brand guidelines, acting as an expert on DEA’s tone of voice.
- Monitor channels, respond to messages, and engage with the community to foster a supportive online presence.
