OUR ROLE
Wedgwood and Waterford are entering an exciting new phase as we continue to develop both brands and strengthen their relevance for today’s audiences. We are looking for a strategic, creative, and commercially minded Social Media Manager to lead and evolve the social media presence of both brands.
Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, you will own the social media strategy, content planning, and channel execution for Wedgwood and Waterford. You will translate brand strategy and creative direction into engaging visual storytelling, helping increase desirability, connect with new and younger audiences, and deliver measurable growth across social and digital channels.
You will work in an international environment alongside colleagues from different markets and cultures, with the freedom to bring your expertise, creativity, and perspective to the role. The role can be based in our London or Barlaston offices. If based in our London Office, frequent travel to Barlaston should be expected.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll turn brand strategy and creative direction into engaging social media experiences for Wedgwood and Waterford. You’ll combine strategic thinking, creative judgement, audience insight, and performance analysis to build relevance and desirability for both brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build and evolve the social media strategy for Wedgwood and Waterford, defining platform roles, audience priorities, content pillars, and growth plans.
- Translate brand strategy and creative direction into engaging, channel-specific content while maintaining a distinct identity for each brand.
- Lead social storytelling across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Define and manage KPIs covering follower growth, engagement, reach, website traffic, and overall brand growth.
- Monitor performance and deliver monthly and quarterly reporting, turning data into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Use audience insight, social listening, platform trends, and competitor analysis to inform strategy and identify opportunities.
- Manage global influencer partnerships and agency relationships across both brands.
- Oversee day-to-day social media activity, including content scheduling, community management, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Champion a test-and-learn approach, continually refining content and channel performance based on insight and results.
Who You Are
You are a strategic and hands-on social media professional with a strong understanding of brand building, content, and digital audiences. You combine creative thinking with commercial awareness and analytical rigour, and you are confident turning insight into clear strategies and compelling content.

You understand how to create distinct social identities for different brands and audiences, while ensuring that every piece of content is relevant, on-brand, and beautifully executed. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, agencies, influencers, and international colleagues, and you bring a proactive, curious, and collaborative approach to your work.
You will likely bring:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, or a creative discipline.
- Experienced social media professional with a strong understanding of luxury, lifestyle, or design-led brands.
- Strategic and creative, with the ability to turn brand direction into engaging, platform-specific content.
- Commercially minded, comfortable using data and insight to guide decisions and measure impact.
- Confident managing agencies, influencers, and multiple stakeholders across international markets.
- A strong communicator and collaborator who can build relationships at all levels.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about social media, emerging platforms, digital culture, and beautiful, design-led brands.
- English as a first language, with an excellent standard of written English.
