Social Media Manager – Waterford Wedgwood
Fiskars Group | Vita Brands · UK Office London / Barlaston
Wedgwood and Waterford are embarking on an exciting journey as we develop both brands in new ways over the coming months. We are looking for a strategic, creative, and commercially minded Social Media Manager to take ownership of, and evolve, the social media presence of both the Wedgwood and Waterford brands.
This is an opportunity to own and shape the future direction of our social media strategy and content across two iconic homeware brands. Reporting into the Global Marketing Director, this role will build and lead the social media strategy, plan, and oversee social media content across our brand/marketing campaigns to bring engaging visual storytelling to life.
We are looking for somebody who has their finger on the pulse, can build robust, insight-led social strategies for two distinct brand audiences, and can help us connect with a younger audience while increasing desirability for both the Wedgwood and Waterford brands.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
- Build, own, and continually evolve the social media strategy for both Wedgwood and Waterford, defining platform roles, audience targeting, content pillars, and phased growth plans for each brand.
- Translate brand strategy into channel-specific content strategies, ensuring a distinct tone and approach for Wedgwood and Waterford while maintaining a consistent house style.
- Develop brand-led storytelling across channels with a focus on social media, through engaging and creative visual and written content with a bold, forward-thinking approach.
- Set and manage KPI frameworks and targets by platform (including Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels), tracking follower growth, engagement, reach, and traffic against strategy.
- Build and present monthly and quarterly performance reporting to senior stakeholders, translating data into clear insight and recommendations.
- Lead ongoing competitor benchmarking across relevant brands, tracking their social presence, content approach, and platform performance to identify best practice.
- Gather and apply audience insight — including platform trends and social listening — to shape content strategy and ensure relevance to target audiences for each brand.
- Support and accelerate brand growth through achieving marketing objectives and KPI measurement across social media for both brands.
- Manage global influencer partnerships across both Wedgwood and Waterford.
- Oversee social media management of all platforms, including content scheduling, performance monitoring, community management, and reporting.
- Champion a test-and-learn approach, using performance data to continually refine strategy across both brands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
