Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: London, UK (Hybrid: Tuesday to Thursday in office, Monday & Friday remote)
Contract Duration: September 2026 - April 2027
Full-Time | Standard Business Hours
Hourly Pay Rate: £63.46
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to help shape and deliver compelling content across multiple communications channels. This role sits at the heart of a global communications function, driving editorial strategy, executive communications, multimedia storytelling, social media content, and thought leadership initiatives.
You will work with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to create engaging content that informs, inspires, and strengthens brand reputation across a range of audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Editorial Strategy & Content Development
- Develop and deliver high-quality editorial content, including articles, blog posts, newsletters, opinion pieces, and feature stories.
- Lead content planning and editorial calendars across multiple communications initiatives.
- Provide strategic editorial guidance from concept through publication.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, style, and messaging.
Executive Communications
- Draft speeches, keynote presentations, blogs, Q&As, internal communications, and thought leadership content for senior executives.
- Help senior leaders develop a clear and authentic voice across communications channels.
- Support executives ahead of high-profile events through briefing materials, content development, coaching, and presentation support.

Multimedia & Video Content
- Plan, create, and manage video and multimedia content projects.
- Partner with internal teams and external creative agencies to deliver engaging visual storytelling.
- Guide the creative direction, format, style, and presentation of multimedia assets.
Social Media & Audience Engagement
- Develop and implement social media content strategies.
- Create engaging social content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Use analytics and audience insights to optimise performance and improve engagement.
Stakeholder Management
- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, product leaders, and senior stakeholders to uncover compelling stories.
- Build strong relationships across business functions and communications teams.
- Manage agency and external vendor relationships where required.
Insights & Performance Analysis
- Analyse content performance and audience engagement metrics.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve editorial strategy and content effectiveness.
- Identify emerging industry trends, media opportunities, and audience interests.

Required Experience
- Significant experience in editorial content, communications, journalism, public relations, or content marketing.
- Proven ability to write for senior executives and leadership audiences.
- Strong storytelling and editorial judgment.
- Experience managing content across digital, social, written, and multimedia channels.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interviewing skills.
- Experience developing content strategies informed by audience insights and analytics.
- Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, and content development capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
