Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice
As a Multi-Channel Marketing Apprentice, you will support the marketing team in creating engaging content across a variety of digital channels. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being creative, is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, and has a passion for social media and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Present in videos and be comfortable appearing on camera when required.
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media content across multiple channels.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas and campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of marketing materials including graphics, blogs, email campaigns, and website content.
- Support product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Take photographs and create visual assets for marketing activities.
- Track and report on social media performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Assist with maintaining and updating website content.
- Work with internal teams to ensure marketing activity aligns with business objectives.
- Support the organisation and promotion of events, exhibitions, and trade shows when required.
Essential Skills and Qualities
- A genuine interest in marketing, social media, and digital content creation.
- Confidence in filming and appearing in front of the camera.
- Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts.
- Basic photography or graphic design skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
- Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.

What You'll Learn
Course Contents
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines.
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organizational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive, and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organize offline and digital assets ensuring they are coordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organization of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day-to-day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations, and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimize the results.
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret, and analyze customer or campaign data.
