Gotobeat is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team and help manage the day-to-day marketing of our live events.

Gotobeat is an AI-native Live Events company. Gotobeat works with artists from all around the world putting on 80+ shows (music, comedy, talks, etc) a month in the UK and EU, ranging anywhere from 80 to 10,000 cap.

We promote a wide range of shows across the UK and Europe, from emerging artists and intimate venues to international acts and large-scale events. We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, creative and comfortable working in the fast-moving world of live music and events.

What you’ll be doing

Show announcements and marketing coordination

  • Manage the social media announcement process for upcoming Gotobeat shows.
  • Liaise directly with artists, managers and agents to coordinate announcements and marketing materials.
  • Send artwork and campaign assets to artist teams for approval and make sure everything is ready ahead of announcement dates.
  • Coordinate announcements across Gotobeat, artists, venues and relevant partners.
  • Make sure event information, artwork, links and messaging are accurate across all channels.
  • Work across a varied calendar of events, prioritising campaigns based on announcement dates, ticket sales and marketing needs.
  • Keep track of upcoming announcements, assets, approvals and content deadlines.

Social media & organic growth

  • Manage Gotobeat’s day-to-day social media presence across platforms including Instagram and TikTok.
  • Develop content that goes beyond event posters and helps build Gotobeat as a recognisable live music brand.
  • Create content around artists, venues, shows, trends, behind-the-scenes moments and the wider live music scene.
  • Identify opportunities to collaborate with artists, venues, music pages, creators, communities and other relevant accounts.
  • Build partnerships with different social pages and communities across the different genres and types of events we promote.
  • Experiment with new formats and ideas to increase organic reach, engagement and follower growth.

Creative production

  • Work with freelance designers, videographers, content creators and other external creatives.
  • Use existing Gotobeat templates to quickly produce or adapt artwork for smaller events.
  • Resize and adapt creative assets for different social media formats when required.
  • Maintain consistency across Gotobeat’s visual identity while adapting content to different artists, genres and audiences.

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • Can be very hands-on, know what shows are coming up and keep all our events in mind.
  • Are very comfortable using Instagram, TikTok and other social platforms.
  • Understand what makes good organic social content.
  • Are highly organised and able to manage multiple events and deadlines at the same time.
  • Have a good visual eye and can confidently work with design templates.
  • Are comfortable using tools such as Canva, Photoshop or similar creative software.
  • Can brief and manage freelance creatives.
  • Are proactive: you spot opportunities and make things happen rather than waiting to be told what to post.
  • Have a genuine interest in music, live events, culture and social media.
