About Castlebrae
Castlebrae is West Lothian's leading letting agency, and we're growing fast. With a fresh new brand, a stunning new office right on Bathgate's high street, and serious investment in our marketing, this is one of the most exciting periods in our company's history. Our lettings division is well established and respected across the region, and our sales department is gaining real momentum—we're a business with big ambitions and we're backing them up with action.
We're now looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media & Marketing Executive to join our team and help us build on this momentum.
The Role
This is a hands-on, creative role at the heart of our marketing efforts. You'll be responsible for managing and growing Castlebrae's presence across social media, producing high-quality content that brings our brand to life, and supporting a wider range of marketing activity as the business continues to invest and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation
- Strategy and planning for content shoots, including the creation of shoot briefs, itineraries, and mood boards, and coordination with clients and the wider team
- Creative direction on shoots to ensure all content aligns with brand identity and campaign objectives
- Post-production and content editing to produce polished assets ready for use across social media and beyond
- Copywriting sharp, memorable, and action-driven captions, posts, and marketing copy
- Blog support for the Castlebrae website

Social Media Marketing
- Managing Castlebrae's presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Scheduling and optimization of all social content for maximum reach and engagement
- Performance review, reporting, and benchmarking across all platforms
- Keeping up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and new features, and bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns
Wider Marketing Support
- Supporting the development and delivery of wider marketing campaigns and initiatives across the business. Including: assisting with email marketing, supporting the upkeep and development of the website, assistance in creating marketing materials, promotional materials, and other printed or digital assets.
- Helping ensure all marketing activity is consistent, professional, and aligned with the Castlebrae brand.
- Bringing new ideas and creative approaches to help strengthen Castlebrae's visibility and engagement across all marketing channels.
Client & Team Management
- Liaising with our team and clients to coordinate social media activity and content production
- Providing creative direction on shoots and ensuring content outputs meet brief
About You
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and managing competing priorities
- A keen visual eye and a flair for creating compelling, on-brand content
- Copywriting skills that are sharp, memorable, and drive action
- Proven experience creating property walkthrough videos and/or short-form video content
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Organized, self-motivated, and reliable
- Full UK driving licence and own transport (essential)

Desirable
- Degree or professional qualifications in Social Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in property photography
- Drone experience (with licence where applicable)
- Strong portfolio of relevant work
- Video editing expertise using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar
