Social Media Marketing Executive

Location: United Kingdom
Workplace: Remote
Salary: £14–£18 per hour (£27,300–£35,100 annual equivalent based on a 37.5-hour week)
Contract: Full-time
Reports to: Marketing Manager (client side)

The opportunity

Apply4U is recruiting a Social Media Marketing Executive on behalf of a UK-based business. This is a full-time, fully remote role for someone with hands-on social media experience who can plan content, engage audiences and use performance data to improve results.

The role

You will manage the day-to-day delivery of the client’s social channels, from planning and scheduling content to community engagement and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule content across the client’s social media channels.
  • Write engaging captions, short-form copy and clear visual-content briefs.
  • Manage community engagement, including comments and messages.
  • Track performance and prepare reports using social-media analytics tools.
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team on campaigns and launches.
  • Identify relevant trends and propose content ideas aligned with brand goals.
  • Maintain an organised content calendar and approvals workflow.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience in social media or digital marketing.
  • Strong written communication and a good understanding of brand tone of voice.
  • Confidence using Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and X.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools.
  • A good visual eye and basic content-creation skills.
  • Self-motivation and reliability in a remote environment.
  • Stable home internet connection and a quiet workspace.
