WE'RE HIRING: SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Warrington | 30 hours | £24,000 | Permanent
We’re looking for someone to join the Stand Out Socks team and help us make a bit more noise.
Someone creative.
Someone curious.
Someone who sees an idea and thinks “let’s give it a go.”
And here’s the important bit…
We’re not looking for the person with the longest CV.
We’re not particularly bothered about qualifications.
What we’re looking for is hunger, ambition, determination, a willingness to learn and the drive to work hard and make things happen.
So, what will you actually do?
- You’ll be the person helping bring Stand Out Socks to life online.
- 🎥 Film Reels & TikToks
- 📸 Shoot products and behind-the-scenes content
- 📱 Run our social channels
- ✍️ Create campaigns, emails and content
- 🎨 Get creative with Canva/Adobe
- 📈 Look at what’s working — and what isn't
- 🧦 Make our socks the heroes
- 🤝 Help bring our partnerships and events to life
- 💡 Come up with ideas and, importantly, actually make them happen
And this isn't a role where you'll be chained to your desk.
There will be plenty of getting out and about too.
You’ll occasionally be heading to events, exhibitions, meetings, networking opportunities, partner visits and other off-site adventures — capturing content, meeting people and representing the Stand Out Socks brand.

We're a small team of 7.
Everyone gets stuck in.
One day you might be filming a TikTok with Ross.
The next you could be launching a new product, heading to an event, creating an email campaign or figuring out why yesterday's Reel suddenly went bonkers.
And yes, you'll probably end up with socks everywhere.
What we're looking for 👇
You don't need to know everything.
You do need to be:
- ✔️ Creative
- ✔️ Hungry to learn
- ✔️ Full of ideas
- ✔️ Comfortable picking up a camera
- ✔️ Confident on social media
- ✔️ Commercially minded
- ✔️ Organised but adaptable
- ✔️ Happy to get stuck in
- ✔️ Comfortable trying things that might not work
- ✔️ A good human who brings great energy to a team
Experience with social media, short-form video, Canva/Adobe, email marketing, Shopify and analytics would be great.

But here's the thing…
If you don't have all of that, don't let it put you off.
We can teach skills.
What we can't teach is drive.
We're much more interested in someone who says:
“I don't know how to do that yet… but I'll figure it out.”
than someone who can tell us everything they've already done.
