Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Intern is a remote, contract role focused on supporting ElCode’s online presence and community engagement. In this role, the intern will assist with planning and scheduling social media posts, creating content tailored to different platforms, and helping manage day-to-day interactions with followers.

Responsibilities
- Generating content
- Gathering insights from analytics
- Collaborating with creators and project leads to align social content with ongoing initiatives
- Contributing ideas for campaigns
- Helping maintain brand consistency
- Supporting broader digital marketing efforts across ElCode’s channels
Qualifications
- Skills in Creative Content Creation, posters, and digital marketing
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and basic analytics tools
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Interest in creative industries, freelancing ecosystems, or digital product development is beneficial
- Relevant coursework, personal projects, or prior internship experience in marketing or communications is a plus

Role is unpaid to start, but as we get to know the successful candidates, we will link you with clients for whom you can be commissioned to handle their own social media marketing too. We will also be hiring full-time people to the team in 2 months.
