Accertify is looking for a creative, curious, and results-driven Social Media Marketing Intern to help bring our brand to life across digital channels. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience developing content, managing social media, analyzing performance, supporting employer branding, and exploring new tools and technologies that can strengthen how we connect with our audiences.
You’ll take an active role in executing Accertify’s social media strategy, primarily on LinkedIn, while helping enhance our YouTube presence. Working from an established content calendar and defined KPIs, you’ll have the opportunity to create and publish content, track what’s working, identify new opportunities, and take ownership of projects from idea through execution.

This internship is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong marketing portfolio, gain exposure to both corporate and employer branding, experiment with emerging AI tools, and make a visible impact on a growing global brand.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging LinkedIn content using Sprout Social, bringing Accertify’s brand voice and content strategy to life.
- Help enhance and maintain Accertify’s YouTube presence, identifying opportunities to improve existing content and channel visibility.
- Monitor social media activity and audience engagement, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities the team can act on.
- Track performance against channel KPIs and develop regular reports that help the team understand what’s working and where we can improve.
- Own and maintain the content calendar and assigned projects in Asana, keeping initiatives organized and on schedule.
- Support HR recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives, including up to three hours of support, by helping create graphics, videos, social media assets, and promotional materials that showcase Accertify’s culture, employee experience, and what it’s like to work at Accertify.
- Take ownership of special marketing projects, including researching emerging AI and marketing tools, evaluating opportunities within budget, and helping navigate the appropriate approval process.
- Help ensure continuity of the internship program by supporting recruitment, selection, and onboarding of the next Social Media Marketing Intern, and by sharing knowledge and best practices developed throughout the internship.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or related program
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences
- Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
- Experience with content calendars, project management tools, or social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Asana) is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with or interest in digital content creation using Adobe Express or similar platforms to create social media graphics, short-form videos, presentations, and employer branding materials that showcase Accertify’s culture and employee experience.
Details:
- Hybrid, based in Itasca, IL (remote considered for the right candidate).
- 20 hours/week, for 6 to 12 months. This role is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work around your class schedule and academic commitments.
- Reports to the Head of Revenue Marketing
- Compensation: This internship pays $20.00 per hour
