About ElCode

ElCode is a software and digital innovation studio built around a simple idea: When someone has a problem, we should be able to find the right people to solve it. We bring together multidisciplinary teams of developers, designers, strategists, creatives and other specialists to work on projects for businesses and individuals. We're growing our network of clients and collaborators — and we're looking for someone creative, ambitious and commercially minded to help us grow our presence online. www.elcode.studio

The Role

We're looking for a Social Media & Growth Intern to take ownership of ElCode's social media presence. You'll work directly with the founder and have the freedom to experiment with how we communicate what ElCode does. We already have:

  • Visual brand guidelines
  • Existing examples and sample posts
  • A clear brand direction
  • Projects and ideas to turn into content
  • A growing network of businesses and clients

But we're not looking for someone who simply follows templates. We want you to bring your own ideas. You could be creating content around our projects, explaining interesting technology, developing campaigns, experimenting with different formats, telling the stories behind ElCode, or finding completely new ways to attract potential clients and collaborators.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and executing ElCode's social media strategy
  • Creating posts, carousels, short-form videos and other content
  • Developing creative campaigns and content concepts
  • Researching trends and identifying opportunities
  • Helping grow ElCode's audience and online presence
  • Turning our projects and ideas into compelling stories
  • Testing different approaches to generate leads
  • Tracking which content actually creates engagement and business opportunities
  • Working directly with the founder to develop the ElCode brand

There is also an opportunity to get involved in sales and business development if that interests you.

The Commercial Opportunity

This is an unpaid internship, but it comes with a direct commission opportunity. If your work contributes to bringing a successful project into ElCode, you can earn commission from the resulting project. We want the relationship to be entrepreneurial rather than purely observational. If you help us bring in business, you should benefit from the business you help create. The exact commission structure will be discussed with successful candidates.

Who We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience. We're more interested in how you think. You might be a student, recent graduate, aspiring marketer, content creator, entrepreneur or simply someone who understands social media and wants to learn how it can generate real business. We're particularly interested in people who are:

  • Creative and visually minded
  • Comfortable experimenting
  • Curious about technology and business
  • Good at communicating ideas
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Interested in marketing beyond simply getting likes
  • Commercially minded
  • Excited by the idea of building something rather than just completing assigned tasks
