Role Description
This is an unpaid internship role intended for students eligible for university credit for their participation.
This remote Social Media Marketing Intern role supports an independent film producer by helping to build and maintain a strong online presence.

The intern will assist with:

- Planning and scheduling social media posts
- Engaging with followers
- Responding to comments and messages across platforms such as Threads, X, and maybe LinkedIn
The intern will help create written content, as well as repurpose existing materials to suit different channels.
This is an internship role designed to provide practical experience, mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities within independent film marketing.
Qualifications
- Sense of humor
- Strong writing skills for short-form content, captions, and basic copywriting, with attention to tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
- Sense of humor
- Great taste in music
- Passionate about art
- Genuine interest in independent film, storytelling, and audience engagement, with a proactive and collaborative approach to sharing ideas.
- Reliable internet access, ability to work independently in a remote environment, and openness to feedback and mentorship.
- Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, film, media studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
