About the Opportunity

We are looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to support a growing UK digital consumer brand.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to build practical experience in social media, content creation and digital marketing while contributing to real campaigns.

You’ll work closely with the team, contribute your own ideas and gain experience in how social media campaigns are planned, created, launched and measured.

For the right person, there is potential to progress into a full-time permanent position following the internship, based on performance, role availability and business needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Help plan and maintain social media content calendars
  • Create engaging posts, captions and social content
  • Assist with creating and sourcing images and short-form videos
  • Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Monitor comments, messages and audience engagement
  • Research social media trends and identify new content opportunities
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity
  • Track metrics such as reach, engagement, clicks and audience growth
  • Prepare simple performance reports
  • Support wider digital marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Contribute creative ideas for content, campaigns and audience growth

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need extensive professional experience. We’re looking for someone who is creative, motivated and keen to learn.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A genuine interest in social media, content creation and digital marketing
  • Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A creative mindset and an eye for engaging content
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • An interest in current social media trends and emerging formats
  • A basic understanding of social media metrics and analytics
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A willingness to learn, experiment and take feedback

Experience with Canva, CapCut or similar creative tools is beneficial but not essential. Previous professional marketing experience is not required. Personal projects, portfolios, university work or social media content you’ve created are all welcome.

There may be an opportunity for the successful intern to move into a full-time permanent position following the internship. Any future offer would depend on individual performance, business requirements and the availability of a suitable position.
