Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Social Media Marketing Intern based in London. The intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms, aligned with Kings Gym’s brand and marketing campaigns.

  • Supporting social media content schedules
  • Capturing photos and short videos in the gym
  • Writing captions
  • Monitoring audience engagement

The intern will help analyze performance metrics, contribute ideas for campaigns and promotions, and collaborate with the marketing and gym staff to highlight events, member success stories, and new services.

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in social media marketing within a fitness-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an understanding of major platforms and basic analytics.
  • Ability in Social Media Content Creation, including writing compelling copy and supporting visual content production.
  • Foundation in Marketing principles and an interest in brand building and audience growth.
  • Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with diverse team members and interact with gym members.
  • Interest in fitness and healthy living, with the ability to reflect this in social media content.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Basic familiarity with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, mobile editing apps) is beneficial.
  • Currently studying or recently completed a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is an advantage, but not required.
