Alexandra Dental delivers a wide range of services including general, cosmetic, orthodontic, and emergency dentistry, as well as dental implants. The team is committed to high-quality, patient-focused care and long-term relationships with the local community.
Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and scheduling content across Alexandra Dental’s social media platforms to build brand awareness and engage current and potential patients.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Managing social media calendars
- Monitoring and responding to comments and messages
- Analyzing performance metrics
- Optimizing campaigns to support patient acquisition and retention

The role also involves:
- Collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to translate dental services into accessible, patient-focused content
- Coordinating with external partners as needed
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Hemel Hempstead, with a mix of on-site presence at the practice and some work from home.
Qualifications
- Strong Social Media Marketing skills, including experience managing brand presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to convey clinical information in clear, engaging, and patient-friendly language.
- Content Strategy capabilities, including planning content calendars, aligning posts with marketing goals, and tailoring messages for different audiences.
- Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, using insights and analytics to improve reach, engagement, and conversion across platforms.
- Digital Marketing knowledge, including basic understanding of online advertising, email marketing, and website best practices.

Additional beneficial qualifications include:
- Experience in healthcare or dental marketing
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills
- The ability to work collaboratively in a small team
A relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
