Company Description

Rankply helps brands become visible in AI-generated recommendations from platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity through a fully managed AI visibility service. The company combines monthly AI visibility audits with expert content creation and publication to improve how brands are cited by AI systems. Clients receive a free initial audit that highlights current visibility scores, competitor performance, negative citations, and trusted sources in their niche. Rankply’s team then manages ongoing audits, content strategy, blogs, PR, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more, with a simple client workflow and dashboard-based results review. Clients typically achieve measurable improvements in AI visibility within 60–90 days.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Manager role is based in the Greater Rome Metropolitan Area. The Social Media Marketing Manager will plan, execute, and optimize social media campaigns across platforms to increase brand awareness and support Rankply’s AI visibility objectives.

  • Developing and implementing social media content calendars
  • Collaborating with content and marketing teams on integrated campaigns
  • Managing community engagement, including comments, messages, and discussions
  • Monitoring performance metrics
  • Conducting A/B tests
  • Using analytics tools to refine strategy and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
  • Staying current with social media trends, competitor activity, and best practices
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Strong social media marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing campaigns across major platforms.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, including audience targeting, analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to develop and execute content strategy tailored to social channels and brand objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, generate insights, and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging online communities in a brand or agency environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of AI, SEO, or content marketing ecosystems is a plus.
  • Capacity to work on-site in the Greater Rome Metropolitan Area and collaborate in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
