Spark YJP is the fastest-growing young Jewish professionals network in the UK, building a community of around 2,000 engaged members in under two years. The organisation hosts inclusive, contemporary events in London, including networking sessions, Friday night dinners, wellness gatherings, large-scale events and more for Jews of all denominations. Spark also leads international trips including expeditions to Everest Base Camp (2026) and Mount Kilimanjaro (2025) for young Jewish professionals, raising ~£200,000 and fostering meaningful connections. Spark was founded by Rabbi Meir Levin together with grassroots leaders Jonah Blackburn and Johnny Rosen. Team members join a dynamic, mission-driven, start-up environment focused on community-building, impact, and innovation.

The Social Media Marketing Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in London, responsible for leading Spark YJP’s social media presence and digital community engagement. This role involves:
- Planning and executing social media campaigns across platforms
- Creating and scheduling content
- Optimising posts to increase reach, engagement, and event participation
- Collaborating with the founders to translate offline activities into compelling online storytelling, including live coverage, recaps, and promotional materials
- Testing new formats, staying current with platform trends
- Providing regular performance reports with recommendations for growth
Qualifications
- Strong social media marketing and social media optimization (SMO) skills, with experience managing and growing communities across key platforms.
- Effective communication abilities, including clear written and visual communication tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in content strategy, including planning content calendars and aligning messaging with organizational goals and event plans.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including audience targeting, analytics, and campaign performance tracking.
- Experience with social media tools (e.g., scheduling, analytics, and basic design platforms such as Canva or similar).
- Ability to work on-site in London, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
