Role Description

The Social Media Marketing Manager is a part-time hybrid role based in Ipswich, with some flexibility for working from home. This role is responsible for strategic planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and audience engagement. Day-to-day tasks include:

The Social Media Marketing Manager will collaborate with designers, strategists, and clients to align social media activities with broader ambitions. Staying informed about platform updates, and testing new formats and features to improve results is essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimisation (SMO), with experience managing multi-platform campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Content Strategy and Digital Marketing to align social media activities with wider brand and business objectives.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
  • Familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • Understanding of SEO and paid social is beneficial
  • Previous experience in an agency or brand-side marketing role and relevant education in marketing, communications, or a related field is an advantage.
