Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our Corporate Communications Team within the Corporate Branding & Communications Group on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The position will be based in London or Northampton with a remote setup.
In this global role, you will help shape and strengthen Yusen Logistics’ digital presence across international markets. From creating engaging social media content and supporting our global social media strategy to coordinating marketing activities and measuring campaign performance, you will play an important role in ensuring our communications are consistent, relevant and aligned with our global brand.
You will work closely with regional marketing teams and stakeholders across the organisation, combining creativity with a structured and hands-on approach to bring our brand to life across different channels and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit and publish engaging social media content in line with Yusen Logistics’ tone of voice and brand guidelines.
- Support the delivery and continued development of our global social media strategy across corporate and regional channels.
- Help develop channel-specific approaches and identify emerging trends, technologies and best practices to strengthen our digital presence.
- Support incoming marketing requests and ensure activities align with our global brand strategy, values and messaging.
- Develop and maintain social media guidelines, governance standards and ways of working.
- Support project planning and maintain the team’s marketing calendar across key initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with regional marketing teams and key stakeholders, providing guidance and support for local social media activities.
- Define and monitor KPIs across social media channels, including engagement, reach, audience growth and share of voice.
- Produce regular performance reports, identify opportunities for improvement and use insights to optimise future campaigns.

What You Will Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in social media strategy, content planning and campaign management, ideally within an international organisation or agency environment.
- Strong understanding of global brand management and the ability to translate brand guidelines into engaging content.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- A creative mindset combined with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confidence working with and influencing stakeholders across different functions, regions and cultures.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
- Experience within logistics or another multinational organisation would be an advantage.
