About Buldak
What if you could help shape the next chapter of one of the world's most exciting food brands?
Meet Buldak — the iconic Korean brand that turned extreme spiciness into a global cultural phenomenon. Loved by millions, Buldak is bold, unapologetic, highly digital and anything but ordinary. And now, we are building its next chapter in Europe.
Buldak is growing fast, and we are building a new marketing hub in London to unlock its full potential. This isn't about maintaining an established brand. It's about building, shaping and accelerating it.
You will join at a rare moment: the opportunity is huge, the foundations are being built and there is still plenty to shape. You will have the freedom to challenge, experiment, move fast and turn ideas into action.
Role Overview
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, creating, managing, and optimizing social media content and campaigns across the UK market. As a part of our marketing team, you will play a key role in strengthening brand awareness, increasing community engagement, and supporting commercial objectives through compelling digital storytelling. You will manage our channels day-to-day, create and publish engaging content, and collaborate with influencers and creators to bring our brand story to life. The ideal candidate is hands-on, creative, and analytical. Someone who knows how to match the right platform, message, and tone to the right audience. Working closely with the regional HQ in Amsterdam, you will ensure brand consistency while tailoring content to resonate with UK consumers.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Content
- Develop and execute Buldak’s social media content strategy for the UK, in alignment with Regional HQ brand direction
- Create and manage an engaging content calendar, balancing always-on content, campaigns, trends and cultural moments
- Manage day-to-day operations of social media channels with a clear priority for TikTok incl. publishing, community engagement and moderation
- Plan, create, and publish engaging posts (text, visuals, video, reels, stories) that fit platform best practices
- Ensure consistent tone of voice that resonates with European audiences while reflecting the brand’s Korean heritage
- Identify trends, formats, creators and conversations that Buldak can authentically participate in
- Bring fresh ideas, inspiration and emerging trends to the wider marketing team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
