A well-established and highly regarded digital marketing agency near Norwich is looking for an experienced and versatile social media professional to join their growing team — offering a fantastic hybrid role where your ability to switch between business and consumer audiences will be genuinely valued.
The Role
As Social Media Marketing Specialist, you'll take the lead on planning, creating, and delivering social media strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning both B2B and B2C. You'll be equally comfortable crafting professional, authority-building content for business audiences on LinkedIn as you are creating bold, engaging, and creative content that captures attention on TikTok. Alongside your organic social expertise, you'll also bring solid experience of paid social — using data and insight to drive measurable results for clients across the full spectrum of their social media presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing tailored social media strategies for both B2B and B2C clients, aligned to their individual objectives, audiences, and brand voice
- Planning and managing content calendars across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery for all client accounts
- Creating compelling content for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter), adapting tone, format, and style to suit each platform and audience
- Planning, managing, and optimising paid social campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on both organic and paid social performance, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Developing thought leadership and professional content strategies for B2B clients alongside creative, high-impact consumer campaigns for B2C clients
- Building strong client relationships, presenting strategies and performance reports with confidence and clarity
- Staying ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging social media trends — particularly across LinkedIn and TikTok
- Collaborating with wider agency teams including content, design, SEO, and PPC to ensure an integrated approach to client campaigns

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
