Social Media Specialist

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Sector: Games | Publishing & Marketing

About the Studio

A creative games and entertainment collective bringing bold, original ideas and experiences to life across a portfolio of studios and titles. The company champions diverse voices, backs artistic vision, and pushes boundaries in how interactive entertainment is made and shared. The culture is built on experimentation, kindness, and excellence — staying curious, treating people well, and aiming high while embracing feedback along the way.

About the Role

The studio is looking for a hands-on Social Media Specialist who lives and breathes online culture and can turn great ideas into content people genuinely want to engage with. You'll need to be immersed in culture generally, with a strong appreciation for games and an eye for how they intersect with the wider cultural landscape.

You'll work across the parent brand and its portfolio of games and creative projects — creating content, spotting opportunities, and helping the studio cut through across social platforms and communities, always with brand vision front of mind. You'll need to read the cultural tone on social platforms in real time and proactively turn that into timely, resonant content.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'll Do

  • Create and publish social content across the parent brand and its portfolio of games and projects
  • Take an active role in growing, shaping, and executing social strategy for the studio's own channels, with a clear sense of what makes its brand distinct from the games it publishes
  • Identify moments and assets worth debuting to the studio's audience, building brand presence alongside each game
  • Proactively spot trends, conversations, formats, and cultural moments worth joining, and react quickly
  • Adapt ideas and assets per platform rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach
  • Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and studio teams to plan and execute campaigns and launch content
  • Own day-to-day running of social channels — planning, scheduling, publishing, and coordinating posts across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Reddit, and Discord
  • Use social and platform analytics tools to monitor sentiment and report on content performance
  • Keep up with platform, format, algorithm, and audience behavior changes
  • Contribute to team ideation sessions with creative, experimental ideas
  • Create social-first assets and video content outside of key tentpole moments
