Volunteer Social Media Manager

We’re looking for a friendly, organised volunteer with social media experience to help us plan and run our social media. You’ll help shape a SM strategy, create an engaging content schedule, and keep our channels active with timely, relevant posts.

What difference will you make?

Your support will help Two Generations show up consistently online, reach more people who could benefit from Homeshare, build trust with families and communities, and increase awareness among employers and partners who can help us grow our impact.

If you enjoy planning content, spotting great hooks, and creating effective posts, we’d love to hear from you.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience using LinkedIn and Facebook (posting, writing for the audience, understanding what performs)
  • Confident writing skills and an ability to keep tone warm, clear and trustworthy
  • Commit to 2-3 hours a week to ensure consistent posting
  • Comfortable using scheduling tools
  • Design skills, Canva experience is a bonus (or enthusiasm to use templates and learn quickly)
  • Interest in social impact, older people, community support, housing, wellbeing, or employee benefits is helpful
  • Experience in FB advertising is a bonus, but willingness to learn is just as important

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
