Social Media & Paid Ads Executive (Remote, UK only)
Step Social is a fast-growing UK social media marketing agency. We create and manage organic social media content and Meta ad campaigns for a growing base of UK and US businesses.
We're a small, close-knit remote team, not a big agency. That means you'll work directly with the founder, have a real say in how we do things, and see the impact of your work straight away. If you'd love that and want to grow with a business rather than be a small cog in a large one, you'll fit right in.
We're looking for someone who is brilliant at creating social media content, has hands-on experience running Meta ad campaigns, and is confident dealing with clients on video calls. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Setting up, running and optimising Meta ad campaigns for our clients
- Creating and editing high-quality, on-brand content in Canva, and jumping in to produce or amend content quickly when a client's dedicated creator is unavailable
- Speaking to clients on video calls: onboarding and kickoff calls, content and strategy discussions, and technical support such as connecting their profiles to our scheduling platform
- Running demo calls with prospective clients to showcase what we do
- Supporting the wider team and clients across the operation as needed

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
