About Creatiloom
Creatiloom is a boutique digital agency creating thoughtful, high-performing digital experiences for ambitious brands. We combine web design, e-commerce, digital strategy, and creative thinking to help businesses build stronger digital identities and connect with their audiences.
We’re looking for a Freelance Social Media & Paid Media Specialist to join our growing network of creative partners and help us deliver smarter, more strategic social media for our clients.
The Role
This is not a role for someone who simply schedules posts. We’re looking for a social media specialist who understands the bigger picture — from content strategy and creative development to paid media, analytics, community management, and brand reputation.
You’ll work with Creatiloom to develop and execute social media activity that is strategic, creative, measurable, and aligned with each brand’s objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Develop social media strategies based on brand objectives, audiences, and business goals.
- Create and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent and purposeful publishing.
- Develop engaging social media content across relevant platforms, including copy, creative concepts, short-form video, and visual content.
- Plan, schedule, and manage content using platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Metricool, and Planable.
- Manage and optimise paid social campaigns, particularly Facebook and Instagram through Meta Ads Manager.
- Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, traffic, and conversions.
- Analyse social media performance and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Monitor brand mentions, conversations, and sentiment to support brand reputation management.
- Support community management and ensure interactions remain professional, timely, and aligned with each brand's voice.
- Research competitors, audiences, trends, and emerging social media opportunities.
- Develop content pillars, campaign ideas, and social-first concepts.
- Repurpose existing content into different formats suitable for different platforms.
- Collaborate with Creatiloom and client teams to maintain consistent brand positioning and tone of voice.
- Stay up to date with changes to social platforms, algorithms, formats, trends, and best practices.
- Provide regular performance updates and reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
