Your Opportunity, Your Team
The Social Media Specialist supports QVC UK, and leads the development and execution of social content and platform activity that drives engagement, brand awareness and social commerce performance.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Chiswick Park, West London two days a week.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute social media strategy for assigned categories across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Create, schedule and publish compelling content while maintaining an effective editorial calendar aligned to brand, trading and promotional priorities
- Partner closely with Merchandising, Platform Strategy & Execution, Performance Marketing and content teams to deliver social campaigns that drive traffic, engagement and sales
- Create social-first content with presenters, brands and external partners, ensuring all output is brand right and aligned to platform best practice
- Track, analyse and report on social performance, using insights, trends and competitor activity to optimise future content and campaigns
- Support social commerce opportunities in partnership with the Digital Store team
- Represent the social media team in meetings, events and promotional planning, sharing results, ideas and recommendations
- Work alongside paid social partners to help optimise activity such as Meta boosting and TikTok Spark Ads
- Attend PR events and external shoots to capture engaging content for QVC’s social channels
- Collaborate across the business to strengthen company reputation, coordinate promotions and increase sessions to site

What You'll Bring
- Strong experience managing social media and content strategy within a retail environment
- Excellent understanding of major social platforms, their audiences and how they can be used to meet business goals
- A creative mindset with strong content creation, copywriting and promotional writing skills
- Experience analysing and presenting social performance data and turning insight into action
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across teams and functions
- Good knowledge of customer journeys, digital content publishing and online best practice
- Experience with paid social campaigns and familiarity with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Sprinklr, Hootsuite or Meltwater would be advantageous
