Working Pattern

What this role is all about:
We're looking for a creative and organised Social Media Specialist to help bring Vitality's brand to life across social media. Working as part of the wider marketing team, you'll create engaging content, support exciting campaigns and help tell stories that connect with audiences. From LinkedIn content and events to customer success stories and social-first campaigns, this is a varied role with plenty of opportunity to make an impact.
Key Actions
- Develop and deliver engaging social-first content that strengthens brand awareness, audience engagement and consideration across Vitality's social channels
- Manage and grow key LinkedIn channels including Vitality UK, Vitality Business and Vitality Adviser, overseeing content planning, publishing and community engagement
- Create compelling social campaigns aligned to wider marketing objectives, collaborating with marketing, content, PR, adviser and employer teams as well as external agencies
- Support paid social activity for adviser audiences, working alongside media agency partners to optimise creative effectiveness and campaign performance
- Transform complex business and technical topics into clear, engaging and audience-focused social content that resonates across multiple channels
- Monitor social media performance, analyse trends and produce actionable insights to continuously improve content strategy, engagement and campaign outcomes
- Track competitor activity, industry developments and platform innovations to identify opportunities that keep Vitality at the forefront of social conversations
- Capture and create high-quality content from events, trade shows, shoots and brand activities, including behind-the-scenes storytelling and live social coverage
- Lead social media support for business-focused events and customer success stories, helping showcase the impact of Vitality's products, services and partnerships
- Maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice across social platforms while supporting wider channel activity including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and X

What do you need to thrive?
- Proven experience creating and managing content across major social media platforms.
- Strong copywriting, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging, audience-focused content.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear and compelling social media content.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, platform developments and algorithm changes.
- Data-driven approach, using performance insights and analytics to optimise content and make recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and agency partners.
