This role plays a critical part in Wolfspeed's mission to scale world-class silicon carbide technology safely, reliably, and sustainably. In your role as a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for executing and optimising Wolfspeed's global social media strategy across owned and paid channels. You will manage content publishing, monitor platform performance, analyse campaign effectiveness, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable insights that support broader marketing and communications objectives. Working closely with Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications, and external partners, you will help elevate Wolfspeed's brand, thought leadership, and engagement across key social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and manage Wolfspeed's global social media strategy across owned and paid channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, content calendars, and business objectives.
- Create, edit, publish, and optimise social media content, with a particular focus on LinkedIn, while supporting broader platform engagement initiatives.
- Plan, execute, and monitor paid social campaigns, including audience targeting, creative optimisation, budget pacing, and performance tracking.
- Measure and analyse campaign and content performance using social analytics, UTM tracking, dashboards, and reporting tools, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with Digital Marketing, MarCom, Corporate Communications, and agency partners to support campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, employer branding, and corporate communications objectives.
- Monitor social listening platforms, audience sentiment, platform trends, and algorithm updates to identify opportunities for engagement and continuous improvement.
- Support A/B testing and optimisation initiatives across paid and organic social campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and conversion performance.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Approximately 3+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing both organic (owned) and paid social media campaigns.
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn, including content formats, audience engagement strategies, analytics, and platform best practices.
- Experience using social media management, reporting, and analytics tools to measure performance and optimise campaigns.
- Working knowledge of campaign tracking and measurement methodologies, including UTM tagging, social analytics platforms, and performance dashboards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both marketing and non-marketing audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Ability to work standard business hours and collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and regularly use a computer and standard office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing LinkedIn thought leadership, executive advocacy, or employee advocacy programs within a B2B environment.
- Experience managing paid social budgets, audience segmentation, and campaign optimisation initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience within technology, semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or industrial B2B industries.
- Knowledge of social listening platforms and trend analysis methodologies.
