Description
As the Social Media Specialist you will:
- Manage the organisation's social media accounts across various platforms.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content tailored to target audiences.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Analyse social media performance and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal specialists and teams to align social media strategies with broader communication goals.
- Stay updated with social media trends and best practices to optimise engagement.
- Support the development of campaigns and initiatives aimed at public awareness and engagement.
- Ensure all content complies with organisational policies and public sector standards.

- Proven experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity from X to Insta!
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills tailored for diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyse data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of social media tools and platforms for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
- Understanding of UK Civil Service communication standards and practices will be an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of up to £162, dependent on the relevance of experience.
- Temporary contract of 6 months.
- Hybrid working 2-3 days in a centrally located office.
