Job Title: Group Lead Social Strategy (EMEA) – Enterprise & Business Professional Audiences

Aquent is recruiting a Group Lead Social Strategy (EMEA) on behalf of a leading global software & digital experience brand. This senior strategic leadership position is at the center of how the company engages its business professional and enterprise audiences across social channels across EMEA.

In this role, you will lead social strategy, set content priorities, craft high-quality creative briefs, and manage cross-functional alignment across key European markets (UK, France, Germany). You will work with a £M budget, guiding creator/influencer strategy and partnering with social intelligence and measurement teams to drive quality content and interventions.

This is a 12-months, hybrid contract, offering up to £65.93 per hour – 35 hrs/week – (PAYE). This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Narrative Leadership: Define and lead social media strategy, channel roles, and content priorities for Enterprise and Business Professional audiences across EMEA.
  • Creative Briefing: Translate complex product and commercial goals into sharp creative briefs that inspire internal execution teams and external agencies.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the dedicated social strategy partner to Product Marketing (PMM), Customer Marketing, and Communications.
  • Influencer & Creator Integration: Integrate creator and influencer partnerships as core storytelling and media drivers.
  • Performance & Insights: Partner with social intelligence (utilizing tools like Talkwalker) to translate social listening data into continuous strategy optimization.
  • Strategic Governance: Set standards for strategy quality across EMEA, mentoring team members and raising the bar for strategic thinking.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of dedicated social strategy and planning experience within an agency, brand, or platform.
  • Strong background in top-tier commercial consumer brands (including retail and luxury e.g., Marks & Spencer, Burberry, LVMH).
  • Proven track record of writing briefs that unlock outstanding creative execution.
  • Experience driving multi-market strategies across EMEA.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills working with senior leadership.
