Social Media and Talent Coordinator
Canoe is seeking a talented Social Media and Talent Coordinator to join our team in this newly created role.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing a diverse client portfolio, working towards enhancing their brands and fostering engaged communities through effective social and talent strategies. We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who enjoys engaging with clients and feels confident in delivering presentations and executing the strategy. In this role, you will have a keen eye for identifying opportunities and implementing innovative solutions to overcome challenges. Your passion for social media as a communication channel and its potential for brand success will be evident in your work. This position is vital to our team, as you will report to senior colleagues and be accountable to directors.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within a leading agency or brand. Please refrain from applying if you do not meet these qualifications.

The day-to-day
Talent
- Identifying and building talent proposals
- Project managing talent briefs from outreach to delivery
- Ensuring internal and client stakeholder status reports
- Negotiating and contracting talent
- Managing seeding fulfillment
Social
- Scheduling and posting content
- Building content plans
- Writing post copy
- Community Management of key client accounts, focusing on Instagram and TikTok and responding to social media posts, feedback, and developing discussions.
- Identify and nurture influencer and KOL relationships across a range of sectors.
- Help design and implement social media strategies and set goals to increase awareness, acquisition, and engagement.
- Help set and deliver KPIs
- Work with the team to innovate new approaches to content
- Attend weekly social marketing meetings with key team members
- Write engaging content posts and articles
- Regularly liaise with clients via telephone, email, conference calls, or face-to-face.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports to clients
- Paid Social experience is not required but is highly desirable
