Salt are partnered with a global technology organisation and they are looking for a Group Lead, Social Strategy to join their team.
Location: London / Hybrid
Day rate: £700 - £715 per day (Inside IR35)
Duration: 12 months
About the Role:
This is a senior leadership opportunity at the centre of how a globally recognised brand engages business and enterprise audiences through social media across EMEA. You will define the strategic direction for social activity, shaping audience narratives, channel strategies, content priorities and integrated campaigns across multiple markets. Working closely with marketing, communications and content teams, you will ensure a consistent yet locally relevant approach across key regions including the UK, France and Germany. The role combines strategic leadership with cross-functional influence, translating business priorities into impactful social strategies and creative briefs that drive engagement, visibility and business outcomes.

- Lead the social strategy for business and enterprise audiences across EMEA, defining audience narratives, channel roles and content priorities.
- Develop social objectives aligned to brand and commercial goals while balancing regional consistency with local market relevance.
- Translate product and business priorities into clear strategic frameworks and high-quality creative briefs.
- Ensure messaging and storytelling remain aligned across markets, channels and campaigns.
- Act as a strategic partner to Product Marketing, Customer Marketing and Communications teams to align on launches, priorities and campaign narratives.
- Guide the integration of influencer and creator strategies within broader audience plans and campaigns.
- Lead quarterly planning processes and performance reviews, using audience insights and campaign results to optimise future activity.
- Partner with analytics and social intelligence teams to identify trends, audience behaviours and cultural insights that inform strategy.
- Establish best practices, governance frameworks and strategic standards across the social team.
- Mentor and develop team members while elevating strategic thinking across the wider organisation.

Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in social strategy within an agency, brand or platform environment.
- Strong understanding of technology, enterprise and/or creative industry audiences.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic briefs that deliver high-quality creative output.
- Previous people management experience with a track record of coaching and developing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leadership.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using performance metrics and audience insight to shape strategy.
- Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working within a complex, matrixed organisation.
