The Opportunity

We're looking for a Head of Social Strategy to own all strategic thinking across our client roster - prospective and current - from big-idea pitch work through to live re-strategy sessions, deck creation, and the social content ideas that bring the strategy to life.

This is a rare dual role: someone who can develop award-worthy strategic thinking and translate it into brilliant, platform-native social content - then hold the production team accountable for executing it to a high bar. You'll work alongside our Project Director, who owns delivery and operations - you bring the strategic and creative vision, they bring the operational execution. You will report to the founders & MD of Creators.

Your main responsibilities include:

Strategy & Client Impact

  • Own strategy development for all clients - prospective (new business pitches) and current (ongoing re-strategy sessions, QBRs, account growth).
  • Lead big-idea thinking, translating client objectives into sharp, social-first strategy and creative concepts.
  • Build and present strategy decks for project-to-project and retained clients alike.
  • Bring genuine social/content/creator fluency to every conversation - not just strategic frameworks, but real platform and format understanding.
  • Report back to clients on strategy performance and iterate accordingly.

Content Quality & Accountability

  • QC and review output to ensure it aligns with the agreed strategy and Socialed's quality bar.
  • Hold the production team accountable to strategic and creative standards - briefing them clearly and following through.
  • Act as the connective tissue between strategic thinking and what actually gets made.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Mentor and support the wider business in strategic thinking.

About Us

We are social thinkers and creative partners to ambitious, socially minded brands - working primarily across luxury and lifestyle, from high-growth tech businesses to household names.

Our belief is simple:

  • Social growth is driven by high-quality, social-first content
  • Community and amplification happens through creators
  • Long-term growth comes from testing, learning, and consistent monthly execution.

Our business is built on delivering high-quality social content that performs and blending this with creators and culture, so we're looking for a social strategy lead who shares this belief and experience.

Who this role is for

Someone who...

  • Has 5+ years in an agency environment (social, content or creator), with a track record of leading strategy end-to-end - from big idea to executed content.
  • Has built and led global or multi-market social strategies for major brands (Pepsi-scale) - not just single-market campaigns.
  • Can point to social accounts they've grown that genuinely moved the needle on business growth, not just engagement metrics.
  • Can move fluently between strategic frameworks and hands-on social content ideation - this is not a "strategy-only" role.
  • Deeply understands social platforms, creators and content formats, not just brand strategy.
  • Is confident presenting to senior/stakeholder level, on both prospective and existing client business.
  • Can review and QC content with a sharp, exacting eye, and give production clear, actionable feedback.
