Job Title: Social Value Advisor
Location: London & UK wide (Occasional UK wide Travel)
Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday 08:00am – 5:00pm
Salary Range: £35k - £45k
Reporting to: Group ESG Manager

The Social Value Advisor will play a key role in delivering Erith Contractors' social value commitments across projects and business operations. Working closely with project teams, clients, supply chain partners, local communities, and internal departments, the role will coordinate and deliver social value initiatives that create lasting benefits for the communities in which we work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting social value outcomes, supporting compliance with contractual requirements including Section 106 obligations, coordinating community engagement activities, organising fundraising and volunteering initiatives, and contributing to Erith's wider ESG objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in social value, community engagement, ESG or corporate social responsibility, preferably within construction, engineering, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management, including building relationships with clients, community organizations, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting, with the ability to present social value outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to contribute to bids, proposals, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of relevant social value policies, frameworks, and legislation in the UK, and awareness of best practices in measuring social impact within the construction industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and manage multiple projects and priorities to deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes.
- Comfort with on-site work in London and UK-wide travel to project locations or stakeholder meetings as required.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical practice in all aspects of social value delivery.
