Overview

Wates Property Services are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Social Value Coordinator to become the face of community engagement across our Dartford projects. This is a people-focused role where you'll be out in the community, organising events, working alongside charities and local organisations, and helping residents access the support they need.
We're looking for someone who is naturally energetic, confident and able to take ownership of their role. Someone who enjoys networking, can build trust quickly and isn't afraid to take the initiative.
Full training will be provided, including support and guidance on working with local charities, community organisations and residents throughout the Dartford area.
Key Points About The Role
- Office-based role, 5 days per week in Dartford.
- Standard hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm, with flexibility required for community events, consultations and seasonal activities.
- Coordinate community events and resident engagement initiatives.
- Build partnerships with charities, local organisations and community groups.
- Act as a welcoming ambassador for WPS within the local community.
- Support residents and answer day-to-day enquiries relating to ongoing projects.
- Identify vulnerable and elderly residents and signpost them to appropriate support services.
- Create engaging social value content, case studies and impact reports.

Experience Required
- Previous experience in community engagement, resident liaison, customer service, events, administration, charity work or stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident speaking with residents, community groups and external organisations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable producing written communications and social media content.
- Compassionate and approachable, with the ability to support vulnerable residents.
- A self-starter who can use their initiative and take ownership of the role.
