At Cognizant, social value is a core part of how we work with public sector clients. We are looking for a Social Value Delivery and Bid Manager to turn ambitious commitments into measurable outcomes—while helping us create high-quality, commercially sound Social Value bid responses.

You will coordinate programmes, partnerships, events and reporting across our existing contracts and new business. Working with colleagues in HR, Talent Acquisition, Diversity and Inclusion, ESG, Learning, Marketing, Business Development and senior leadership, you will identify opportunities that add value beyond compliance and contribute to lasting impact in the communities we serve.

About The Role

This is a hands-on role combining programme delivery, stakeholder management, reporting and bid writing. You will manage multiple commitments and deadlines, build trusted relationships with internal and external partners, and ensure our proposed commitments are deliverable, measurable and commercially viable.

What you will do

  • Lead the delivery of Social Value commitments in line with Cognizant’s strategy and client contracts.
  • Create and manage project plans for multiple clients, tracking milestones, risks, budgets and outcomes.
  • Identify and manage delivery partners that can help meet client and community objectives.
  • Coordinate clients, Cognizant teams, venues and suppliers to deliver events and programmes.
  • Plan and deliver initiatives such as bootcamps, work experience and apprenticeships.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report performance against objectives, deliverables and milestones.
  • Manage Social Value reporting through relevant frameworks and systems, including IES and Thrive.
  • Own the end-to-end creation, writing and review of clear, compliant and compelling Social Value bid responses.
  • Develop timed action plans and milestone-based delivery schedules for bids.
  • Build detailed budget forecasts and ensure proposed commitments are commercially viable.
  • Improve bid tools, templates and processes using lessons learned and best practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
