This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded social value professional to take ownership of social value strategy and delivery across a growing portfolio of property and development projects. You will play a key role in ensuring that social value commitments translate into measurable, meaningful outcomes for local communities while supporting wider business and project objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of social value commitments from tender and pre-construction through to project delivery and completion.
  • Working with project teams and supply chain partners to identify and deliver meaningful social value opportunities.

  • Producing regular reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Identifying opportunities around local employment, apprenticeships, skills development, education, community engagement, volunteering and local procurement.
  • Supporting contractors and delivery partners in understanding and achieving social value requirements.
  • Ensuring social value activity is accurately recorded, evidenced and communicated.
  • Staying up to date with relevant legislation, policy, frameworks and best practice across social value and responsible development.
  • Supporting wider ESG, sustainability and community investment objectives where appropriate.
  • Promoting a strong social value culture across the organisation and its project teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
