Responsible Business Specialist
Flexible UK Location | Regular Travel | Permanent and Full-time
Our client, a leading UK professional services organisation, is seeking a passionate and motivated Responsible Business or Social Value professional to join their growing team.
This is a newly created role and can be based in any of the firm's nationwide offices. This is an exciting stage in their responsible business journey, and you'll play a key role in delivering social value initiatives, community engagement programmes, charity partnerships, volunteering activities and pro bono projects that create measurable impact for clients, colleagues and communities.
The Opportunity
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll help shape and deliver responsible business activities across multiple locations, ensuring programmes are engaging, impactful and aligned with client commitments.
This is a highly visible, delivery-focused position that combines stakeholder engagement, project management, community partnerships, reporting and event delivery. You'll have the opportunity to work with schools, colleges, universities, charities, employability providers and community organisations, helping to drive positive social and economic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Social Value & Community Impact
- Support the delivery of social value programmes and client-led initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop impactful community engagement activities.
- Work alongside client teams to align social value commitments with wider business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, events and engagement sessions with community partners.
- Stay informed on social value, ESG and CSR developments, including relevant legislation and frameworks.

Charity, Volunteering & Pro Bono
- Coordinate pro bono activities and support legal and operational teams in delivering commitments.
- Manage charity partnership initiatives, fundraising campaigns and volunteering programmes.
- Build and maintain relationships with external charities and community organisations.
- Organise colleague engagement events and community action projects.
Reporting & Impact Measurement
- Produce reports, dashboards and impact summaries for internal and client stakeholders.
- Maintain social value reporting systems and measurement frameworks.
- Create compelling case studies that showcase community and client impact.
About You
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
- Experience engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholders
- Confidence presenting and facilitating sessions both virtually and in person
- A genuine passion for social value, community impact and making a positive difference

Experience in social value, CSR, ESG, social mobility, employability, outreach, community engagement or related areas would be highly beneficial, although candidates with transferable experience and enthusiasm are also encouraged to apply.
