We’re working with a major global entertainment and technology business looking for a talented Social Editor to join its London team.
This is a hands-on, high-output creative role for someone who understands what makes great social video and can turn existing and pre-release content into engaging, platform-native assets for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social channels.
You’ll be creating and adapting video content at pace — identifying strong moments, cutting footage, verticalising content, adding captions and overlays, creating multiple platform versions and ensuring every asset feels native to the audience and channel.
What you’ll be doing
- Creating and editing short-form social video content at scale
- Cutting and repurposing source footage into engaging social-first clips
- Producing content across 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9 formats
- Adding captions, text overlays, design elements and other visual treatments
- Versioning content for different platforms and audiences
- Applying strong hooks, pacing and platform-specific best practices
- Writing and adapting accompanying social post copy
- Using AI-powered creative and internal clipping tools as part of the production process
- Responding quickly to creative feedback, often with same-day turnaround
- Self-QA'ing content for framing, audio, pacing and platform specifications
- Staying current with social trends, formats and engagement behaviours

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
