An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Work Assistant Practitioner to join the Nairn & Ardersier Social Work Team
This permanent, part time position of 19.5 hrs per week, will enable the right candidate the opportunity to be part of a fully integrated adult social care service with NHS Highland.
About the Role
The post is interesting and varied in nature providing a social work service across Nairn and Ardersier. The Team is busy but supportive and is looking for an individual who can work autonomously but also effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide generic case work that is interesting and varied.
- Undertake statutory work appropriate to the role.
- Conduct person-centred outcome-focused assessments.
- Undertake reviews.
- Deal with and manage a wide variety of situations and issues.
- Work effectively in a multi-disciplinary way.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic practitioner with experience of working with people with a wide range of needs.
- Person-centred and outcome-focused in approach.
