Children's Social Worker - Family Support & Protection Team
Location: Rochdale
Rate: £39.00 per hour Umbrella / £30.58 per hour PAYE
Contract: 3 Months Initial Contract with a Strong Likelihood of Extension

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Family Support & Protection Team at Rochdale Council. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children and families in need of support and protection.
- Undertaking Child and Family Assessments.
- Completing Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children work.
- Developing and reviewing care and support plans.
- Working closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote welfare.
- Attending case conferences, core groups, and court proceedings where required.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Recent experience within Children's Social Care, preferably within a Family Support, Safeguarding, or Child Protection setting.
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and communication skills.
