We have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated and supportive Safeguarding Adults Team based in Barrow-in-Furness. Working within our Safeguarding Adults Team, you will be part of a skilled and committed service that is passionate about promoting wellbeing, protecting people from harm, and supporting individuals to achieve the outcomes that matter most to them.

Who we are looking for…
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker with a strong commitment to safeguarding adults and promoting person-centred practice.
- You will hold a Social Work Degree and be registered with Social Work England.
- You will have experience of undertaking assessments, managing risk, and working collaboratively with individuals, families and professionals to develop strengths-based plans.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding legislation, the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Making Safeguarding Personal principles will be essential.
- The successful candidate will be confident in analysing complex information, balancing risk and autonomy, and making professional judgements in often sensitive and challenging situations.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and partnership working skills are critical, as is the ability to work creatively with individuals to achieve positive safeguarding outcomes.
